Projects
Here is a list of the current projects I am working on:
fancyAcar
1. Crawler
I intend to write a crawler in C-Sharp to collect car articles for my fancyAcar website. The crawler needs to be able
to organise the articles into the current categories that i have on my site and be intelligent enough to generate keywords
which are specific to each article read.
2. Table-less design
When i designed fancyAcar, my only aim was to build the site in php. So it was the functionality that i was after rather than
the design aspect. Although it is easier to use tables for layout of a site, it is however a nightmare for crawlers. In my endeavour
to make the site more crawler-friendly, i will definitely make a table-less design which will speed up the loading of the page.
Moreover, i need to optimise the graphics that i have on the main page as they take a lot of time to show up.
Gices
Although Gices is functional, i still need to do more work on it in terms of optimising my pages and using code behind styles. In
addition to this, i will be doing some testing here as i learn new ASP.NET 3.0 stuffs.
Poum's Review Site
Soon after i'm done with the things that i've discussed above or maybe meanwhile, i will be developing a review website for Poum.
The site should be easy-to-use and when completed, should not require any more coding so that Poum can look after the site herself.
